From classic heritage sneakers that bring nostalgia for me and excitement for my son and the new generation of fashion lovers to beauty treats, here’s a round-up of what’s worth checking out this week.

Step into modern heritage

Lately, I’ve noticed many friends sporting the Puma Speedcat in various colorways. Even my 15-year-old son, who’s into motorsports, asked if he could have a pair too! This heritage design draws inspiration from the fireproof racing footwear worn by Grand Prix drivers in the ’80s and ’90s. I first encountered this style when it was launched in 1999, and I couldn’t be more excited to wear them again—this time twinning with my son. He’s going for black, while I’ve opted for red. Recently released colors include light blue/navy and haute coffee/frosted.

Four years of beauty
