K-pop girl groups Aespa, ILLIT and TripleS grabbed the first three places in the weekly physical album chart in South Korea.
South Korea’s Hanteo Chart released the rankings for the weekly album chart for the period Oct. 21 to 27.
The chart ranks albums based on its proprietary physical record index (PRI), which incorporates album sales and album price.
Aespa topped the weekly album chart with their “Whiplash” selling 913,234 copies or an equivalent of 1,159,221 in physical record index.

HYBE’s ILLIT placed second with “I’ll Like You” selling 382,621 copies for the week or a PRI or 445,434.
TripleS took third place with “Visionary Vision: Performante” garnering sales of 348,061 copies or a PRI of 200,220.
Solo artist Lee Seung-yoon’s “YEOKSEONG” is in fourth place with 69,009 copies in sales or a PRI of 89,712.
K-pop boy band AMPERS&ONE’s “ONE QUESTION” placed fifth with 55,764 copies sold or a PRI of 67,539.
