FASHION PULIS: Wrong impression

Published Oct 26, 2024 03:07 am

Perhaps, Influential Girl (IG) already heard rumors about Cute Boy (CB) when she realized she was falling for him. After all, CB was super good-looking and had several high profile girlfriends prior to IG. However, IG was too in love with CB to listen to the warnings coming from left and right. After a time with CB, IG woke up to the truth that they were too and CB was not the man she thought was a catch.

First, CB’s family was not well-off. They were in debt and it would take a long time to be paid. Nonetheless, IG’s side extended help via their deep contacts. A few calls and CB’s family was able to sell their home instead of a back foreclosure. Feeling pity, IG’s side extended financial help to CB on the condition that he would treat IG rightly.

Second, CB did not live to the condition. He hardly took IG on dates. IG realized that his family did not even bother to express gratitude to her side for bailing them out; not even asking the patriarch out for a thank you dinner.

Third, IG could no longer stand the lies. CB continued to brag to friends he was still indulging into his expensive hobby. The truth was that he was no longer in it, which IG knew. What IG could not figure out was the odd behavior CB had with a close Male Friend (MF). Even in public and with business associates, MF would grab and kiss CB on his face. Sometimes, MF would touch CB down there. As the girlfriend then, IG knew but she was disgusted as CB did not do anything.

Finally, when CB asked IG if she wanted to go away for some birthday cuddling time. IG was excited for that birthday vacation. Then, CB gave her a cap from a movie. The cap was not an innocent gift, as it represented a range of emotions. IG felt CB was poking fun at her mental health.

That’s it. IG thought CB was the man of his dreams, but she was so wrong, as he, in turn, gave her nothing.

Moves never die

Allegedly, marriage, loving wife, reputation will not make Lover Boy (LB) change his old ways. Back in his single days, LB was one of the industry’s certified ladies’ man. He was known to make his leading ladies his girlfriends. It was like he was collecting women, but LB soon found a woman who made him settle down.

For a while, LB became the family man that surprised many. LB was idolized because of the change and the responsibility. Everyone thought he had truly reformed. Years passed but time was not kind to his marriage. However, that was not the end of his world. More years passed and LB found his match. This time, LB was more open to the public about his love life.

Alas, despite this new life, LB has not forgotten his moves. Apparently, LB made his moves to An Employee (AE) in a workplace. Everyone was familiar with LB and AE knew about his reputation. Thus, AE turned down LB’s moves as she refused to be in the long line of a still playboy’s collection.
