Coffee shop collaboration to mark launch of tvN Movies Pinoy, tvN Asia on Blast TV


Korean movie channel tvN Movies Pinoy teamed up with Korean café Would U Like for the first time to celebrate the upcoming launch of linear channel tvN Movies Pinoy and tvN Asia on Blast TV in the Philippines starting Nov. 1.

tvN Movies Pinoy is the first-ever 24/7 Korean movie channel in Southeast Asia. Viewers have the option of choosing dual audio and watching Korean movies dubbed in Tagalog, or in original Korean with English subtitles.

tvN Asia is a premium Korean entertainment channel where audiences can catch the latest Korean dramas and variety programs. Select premium dramas are aired within 24 hours of its premiere in Korea. 

To celebrate the launch of the two linear channels and premiering of top grossing Korean horror flick “Exhuma” on tvN Movies Pinoy, tvN Asia is partnering with Would U Like to introduce an exclusive “Exhuma”-inspired Halloween menu, which consists of Undead Chocolate Indulgence drink and Bury me in Chocolate cupcake, exquisitely created by the café for the collaboration.  

Fans will also receive an “Exhuma”-inspired toploader card sleeve and coaster with every purchase of an item from the café’s Halloween menu available from Oct. 26 to Nov. 3.

tvN Movies Pinoy continues to uphold its commitment to bring viewers quality and latest Korean movies. 

Audiences can expect to watch “Exhuma” starring Choi Min-shik, Kim Go-eun, Lee Do-hyun and Yoo Hai-jin this Halloween, Oct. 31. “Exhuma” was a box office hit when it was released in Korean cinemas this year and is still the No. 1 highest grossing film in Korea this year to date. 

Besides “Exhuma,” audiences will also get to enjoy the adrenaline pumping exorcist movie “The Divine Fury,” starring Park Seo-jun and Ahn Sung-ki for a spooktacular Halloween.

In November, audiences continue to enjoy a robust lineup of Korean movies on tvN Movies Pinoy, such as “Sleep” starring Jung Yu-mi and Lee Sun-kyun; historical war action film “Noryang: The Deadly Sea,” which stars Kim Yoon-seok, Baek Yoon-sik, Jung Jae-young and Huh Joon-ho. 

In addition to the launch of tvN Movies Pinoy, tvN Asia will also be available on Blast TV! tvN Asia shows a wide variety of Korean content suitable for all ages including premium dramas like “Lovely Runner,” “Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale” and “Pyramid Game;” well-loved variety programs such as “Fresh Off the Sea” and “The Backpacker Chief 2.”  

Viewers can also look forward to first-run drama, “What Comes After Love” starring Lee Se Young and Sakaguchi Kentaro in November; romantic comedy “Welcome to Waikiki 2” starring Kim Seon-ho and Moon Ga-young in December and 24-hour express drama “The Queen Who Crowns” starring Cha Joo-young and Lee Hyun-wook slated to air in January 2025. 24-hour express dramas are dramas aired within 24 hours after their premiere in South Korea. 

For variety programs, viewers can anticipate the annual anchor Mnet’s music award ceremony, MAMA Awards, highly anticipated by K-pop fans around the world. The star-studded music event will be attended by many A-list K-pop stars and groups including G-Dragon, BIBI, (G)I-DLE and TWS. 

Travel related program “Europe Outside Your Tent: Romantic Italy” starring Ra Mi-ran, Kwak Sun-young, Lee Joo-bin and Lee Se-young, and healing variety show “3 Meals A Day: Light” about culinary and food in rural areas produced by highly acclaimed producer PD Na, starring Cha Seung-won and Yoo Hae-jin are also available on tvN Asia.
