Letran tries to stay inside the Top 4 and catch up with third-running San Beda when it tangles with Jose Rizal University at 2:30 p.m., while Lyceum and University of Perpetual Help collide in the 11 a.m. opener.

Inclement weather brought by Tropical Storm Kristine prompted the league to postpone its last two playdates, with an updated scheduled to be released anytime soon.

But for now, focus will be on the Knights as they try to follow up their 101-98 victory over the San Sebastian Stags last Tuesday, Oct. 22.

With a 7-6 card, Letran trails league-leading College of St. Benilde (10-2), Mapua (10-3) and San Beda (8-5).

But expect JRU to go all out as it hopes to end a four-game slump including an 80-65 defeat to St. Benilde last weekend that put them near the cellar at 3-8.

Bannered by Joshua Guiab, Shawn Argente and Marvin Raymundo, the Bombers also aim to avenge their 70-62 loss to the Knights in the first round last Sept. 13.

Also out to regain lost bearings was Perpetual, which seeks to untangle from a two-way tie with Arellano at seventh to eighth places with its 5-8 card.

Altas coach Olsen Racela pins his hopes on Mark Gojo Cruz to lead the squad anew against a tough Lyceum crew out to improve its 6-6 mark.
