“The Queen is back.  It's been said a couple of times before: Farm Fresh needs a veteran outside hitter who can lead the team to greater heights,” Farm Fresh wrote on a social media post.

“And that's exactly what we got. Join us as we welcome another PH volley icon into the Farm Fresh fold, Rachel Anne Daquis.” it added.

Daquis took a break from the sport in 2024 to focus on her business pursuits. She played for Cignal for six years, leading the team to four third-place finishes and a runner-up spot in the 2022 Reinforced Conference.

She started her career in the then Shakey’s V-League, earning accolades that include Finals MVP in the Season 8 Open Conference and becoming a dual MVP in Season 11, taking home both the Finals MVP for the First Conference and the Conference MVP title in the All-Filipino Conference.

The 5-foot-10 hitter will join forces with her former teammate and long-time Cignal libero Jheck Dionela, as well as Fil-American Alohi Robins-Hardy.
