The 16th PCP Professional Photojournalism and Documentary Photography Workshop is going to the Visayas!
The workshop will be held in Borongan City, Eastern Samar on November 20-24, 2024.
PCP, in partnership with the provincial government of Eastern Samar, is bringing the only comprehensive workshop on visual journalism given by working photojournalists closer to journalists in the Visayas region.
The five-day workshop tackles all the competency areas that are needed in the practice of photojournalism in today’s media landscape. Participants will go through an extensive workshop with focus on visual literacy, writing and producing for various publications and platforms, safety and other skills that will be tested in hands-on field exercises, to be facilitated and given by journalists from different publications and agencies.
