The NCAA has postponed the men’s basketball games on Friday, Oct. 25, due to the inclement weather brought by Tropical Storm Kristine.
Affected games were the Mapua-Arellano tussle, and the San Beda-San Sebastian clash at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.
The Cardinals were actually seeking to solidify their hold of the second spot by aiming to extend their four-game winning streak to improve their 10-3 record, just half a game behind pacesetter College of St. Benilde Blazers.
The Chiefs, for their part, are also looking at keeping their momentum following back-to-back wins that hiked their tally at 5-8.
This would be the second time that the NCAA has postponed its games. They also rescheduled Tuesday’s matches for the same reason.
Meanwhile, UAAP also cancelled its men’s football games last Thursday, Oct. 24, for the same reason.
University of the Philippines was supposed to play against La Salle, while Ateneo and University of the East were also scheduled at the UP Diliman Football Stadium.
The matches will be rescheduled Sunday, Oct. 27, at the same venue.
