Man electrocuted during blackout in Quezon

CANDELARIA, Quezon – A 49-year-old man was electrocuted during a blackout at the height of severe tropical storm “Kristine” in Sitio Kinatihan, Barangay Buenavista West, this town, on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 23.

Laborer dies after electrocution in Quezon

Police identified the victim as Ramilo Perez Latorre.

Investigation said Latorre left his house to check the electric line after a power outage.

He failed to return, prompting his mother to inform barangay officials who conducted a search.

Latorre’s body was found in a grassy portion of Barangay Buenavista West holding an electric wire.

He was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
