Classes, gov't work in Valenzuela City remain suspended due to TS 'Kristine'

The Valenzuela city government announced the suspension of classes and work in government offices for Thursday, October 24, due to Tropical Storm Kristine.

All face-to-face and online classes at all levels for both public and private schools will remain suspended in line with the automatic class suspension ordinance of the city.

This is after the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) placed Metro Manila under Signal No. 2.

Meanwhile, the local government unit (LGU) said the city’s pumping stations and flood gates are fully operational to mitigate possible flooding caused by the storm.
