Big Bang's G-Dragon to perform at 2024 MAMA Awards after 9 years

K-pop legend G-Dragon of group Big Bang will be returning to the MAMA Awards after nine years.

Organizers of the 2024 MAMA Awards, a music awards event, announced that G-Dragon will perform this year at the awards ceremony.

The 2024 MAMA Awards will be held in the US and Japan. The ceremony will be held at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Nov. 21 and at Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan on Nov. 22 and 23.

G-Dragon was announced in the third line-up of artists attending the ceremony. He will perform at the 2024 MAMA Awards in Japan on Nov. 23.

This will mark his return to the MAMA Awards stage. His last appearance at MAMA was in 2015.

He recently attended 2NE1’s concert in Seoul and participated as a songwriter in girl group Babymonster’s song “Drip,” which will be released on Nov. 1.

The performers at 2024 MAMA Awards in Los Angeles are ILLIT , KATSEYE , RIIZE , Park Jin-young and TWS.

On the first day of MAMA in Japan on Nov. 22, the performers are ENHYPEN, IVE, Tomorrow X Together, ME:I, Treasure, BOYNEXTDOOR and PLAVE

Performers on Nov. 23 are G-Dragon, Aespa, INI, ZEROBASEONE, Lee Young-ji , MEOVV , (G)I-DLE and Bibi.
