#KristinePH: Classes suspended in Cavite on Oct. 22, 23
CAVITE – Gov. Athena Tolentino announced the cancellation of classes in all levels in the province on Tuesday, Oct. 22, and Wednesday, Oct. 23, due to the effect of Tropical Storm Kristine.
In a Facebook post, Tolentino apologized for posting the announcement past 7:00 a.m.
“#LatePost nag-usap na po talaga kami, pasensya sa mga magulang na nakapaghatid na sa kanilang mga estudyante (We have already talked about it, sorry to the parents who have already brought their students to school),” the governor said.
“Mag-ingat po tayong lahat (Let us all be careful). Always remember to check on your loved ones.”
According to the Heavy Rainfall Warning issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration at 7:30 a.m., light to moderate rains are expected over Cavite, as well as Rizal and Metro Manila within the next three hours.
