Classes in Parañaque, Las Piñas, Pasay remain suspended due to TS 'Kristine'


The city governments of Parañaque, Las Piñas, and Pasay announced that classes in all levels for both their respective  public and private schools will remain suspended on Wednesday, October 23, due to TS Kristine.

Las Piñas Mayor Imelda Aguilar advised students and residents to just stay at home to keep them safe from any possible dangers from the storm.

In Parañaque Mayor Eric Olivarez advised schools to hold online classes instead as an alternative learning modality.

He also urged residents to stay alert and call the local hotline  of the city at 8820-97783 or the 911 hotline incase of emergencies.

The mayor also advised the suspension of distribution of social pension for indigent senior citizens to be held at Area 1 covered court of Fourth Estate Subdivision in Barangay San Antonio.

The distribution will be moved to another date to ensure the safety of everyone.

In Pasay City, Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said any residents in need of immediate help may coordinate with the Pasay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) through Pasay City Hotline 888-PASAY (72729) local 1371,1372 or 1373.
