The local governments of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela(CAMANAVA), and Quezon City announced the suspension of classes on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 due to tropical depression Kristine.
Classes in all levels both public and private were suspended after state meteorologists from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) raised Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 1.
Meanwhile, Mayor Wes Gatchalian announced that there will be online classes for college students in Valenzuela City.
All the LGUs encouraged the residents to stay indoors to ensure their safety.
