Sr. Minerva Caampued is recipient of 2024 Saint Teresa of Calcutta Award

Under the Franciscan Apostolic Sisters, Sr. Minerva Caampued has been driven by love and compassion throughout her 28 years of service to the underprivileged members of the community.

Her humanitarian work has positively impacted the lives of more than 3,000 people in Cagayan, Nueva Ecija, and Ilocos Norte. With her unwavering dedication and compassion, she will surely be able to reach out to even more lives, making her a worthy recipient of this year’s Saint Teresa of Calcutta Award.

The Saint Teresa of Calcutta Award, an annual initiative of AY Foundation, Inc. and the Manila Jaycees, honors the legacy of St. Teresa of Calcutta, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate. This award recognizes selfless lay individuals who have dedicated at least 25 years of their lives to serving the poor.
