Kylie Padilla says 'no thanks' on reuniting with Aljur Abrenica

Kapuso star Kylie Padilla didn't hold back her thoughts after a netizen commented that she should get back with her ex-husband Aljur Abrenica.

Posting a sweet message on her Instagram, Kylie poses with her sons Alas (6), and Axl (4), while highlighting the celebration of National Children's Month for her two sons.

"It’s Children’s Month, and I would love any reason to celebrate the two angels of my life. Last night we went to sleep in our own rooms and they came to kiss me goodnight. Alas, the thoughtful boy that he is noticed I didn’t have my usual cup of water on my side table and he went to get me one of his own volition. The sweetest thing,” she wrote.

While feeling all the love she has for her two sons on her post, the comment section was also filled with support for Kylie. But there's one comment that caught the eye of the celebrity mom.

One of the netizens said; "Sana magkabalikan po kayo ng tatay nila (I hope you get back with their father),” addressing Aljur, who is currently dating actress AJ Raval.

Kylie politely answered the comment, saying " “No thanks; we [are] good.”

In an interview with Boy Abunda in Nov. 2023, Kylie was tearful as she revealed that she had attempted to keep her marriage to Aljur intact even though the effort "was not returned" and she was already "unhappy," all to prevent their sons from growing up in broken family.

After dating for six years, and welcoming their firstborn Alas in 2017, the two tied the knot the year later before welcoming their second son Axl. Kylie and Aljur confirmed their breakup in 2021.
