“Kongreso, kaya naten 'to! It's official! Nakapag-file na po tayo para sa pagtakbo bilang Congressman ng ating lungsod ng Malabon. Magsama-sama tayo sa pagbuo ng isang Malabon na hindi lamang matatag kundi puno ng pag-asa at opportunity para sa lahat (Congress, we can do this! We have filed to run for congressman of our city. Let’s come together to build a Malabon that is not only resilient but also full of hope and opportunities for everyone),” Oreta stated.
“Sama-sama tayong magtatayo ng mas maliwanag na kinabukasan para sa iyo, para sa inyong mga anak, at para sa mga susunod na henerasyon (Together, we will build a brighter future for you, for your children, and for the next generations),” he added.
Oreta assumed office in 2012 and served as the mayor of Malabon for three terms.
In the 2022 elections, Oreta did not run for any position after his brother, Jose Lorenzo “Enzo” Oreta, ran for the mayoral post against incumbent Mayor Jeannie Sandoval.
