Showing no signs of slowing down after topping the regular season and sweeping Aurora in the upper bracket semis, the Sonics grounded the Bees in the first two games before bouncing back from a Game 3 hiccup to also advance to the grand finals of the tournament for the first time after six seasons.

The Onic PH franchise is also making it back to the world stage for the first time since the M3 Worlds where it finished second behind fellow PH team and eventual champion Blacklist International.

King “K1NGKONG” Perez displayed the exact same form that won him the regular season Most Valuable Player plum, presiding over the hot start for FNOP. He exploded for 6-1-5 and 5-1-3 KDAs on the Suyou and Nolan picks in the 12-4 and 13-10 conquests in Games 1 and 2.

He had a clutch Lord steal to try rally his team to a sweep in Game 3 but the Sonics couldn’t complete the come-from-behind win in Game 3, dropping a 11-19 decision.

K1NGKONG would not allow himself to be denied in the clincher, putting up a clean 10-0-3 KDA on the Suyou pick.

With the outcome, FCAP was dropped to the lower bracket finals where it will face up against Aurora.

The Northern Lights dispatched Blacklist International with a sweet 3-0 sweep in the lower bracket semifinals.

At stake in the contest between the APBren and Aurora is the chance to challenge FNOP for the MPL PH S14 crown as well as the last ticket to M6 Worlds.

The M6 slot also capped a splendid night for Fnatic Onic PH which also emerged as the big winner in the Season's Alamat awards.

K1NGKONG, aside from his MVP plum, was joined by teammates Duane "Kelra" Pillas and Frince "Super Frince" Ramirez in the first All-Star team alongside APBren's David "Flaptzy" Canon of APBren and Joshua "Ch4knu" Mangilog of Smart Omega.

FNOP coaches Tony "Ynot" Senedrin and Jenie; "Yellyhaze" Bata-anon were hailed as Best Coaches while the second All-Star team was composed of  Marco Stephen "Super Marco" Requitiano and Angelo Kyle "Pheww" Arcangel of APBren , Andrew Lew "Andoryuuu" Flora of Smart Omega, Sanford "Sanford" Vinuya of Team Liquied, and Renejay "Renejay" Barcarse of Aurora
