Filipino Homes set to launch free portal for global cultural events

CEBU CITY – The Filipino Homes Group, the country’s largest real estate network, is set to launch bayanihan.com, an online portal created to provide a one-stop-shop for Filipino events and festivals worldwide.

“The website aims to bridge Filipinos across the globe, promoting and celebrating the vibrant Filipino culture through local and international events,” said Filipino Homes founder Anthony Gerard O. Leuterio.

Leuterio assured that Bayanihan.com will be a user-friendly and free portal.

“Event organizers can easily promote their cultural festivals, while Filipinos from all over the world can stay connected to their heritage. From local fiestas to grand international festivals, Bayanihan.com ensures that no Filipino celebration goes unnoticed,” Leuterio said.

According to Statista, there was about 2.33 million overseas workers from the Philippines in 2023, about twice as much as the previous year.

“Our mission is to provide an accessible platform for organizers to promote their events and for Filipinos to engage with cultural activities that matter to them," Leuterio added.

The website will serve as a venue where Filipinos and enthusiasts can connect, share experiences, and engage in discussions about cultural celebrations.

It is also committed to fostering the Filipino spirit of “bayanihan” – unity and collaboration – while helping preserve the country’s rich traditions and culture.

From local fiestas to international celebrations, bayanihan.com ensures that every Filipino gathering is highlighted, fostering unity and preserving the culture for future generations.

“Organizers are welcome to promote their events, along with relevant news and photos, on the portal for cross-promotion in other countries,” added Leuterio.

Additionally, the free portal provides a platform for event organizers worldwide to attract sponsors and gain support for their events.

"This portal helps festivals attract greater financial support from sponsors, enhancing the relevance of their events, and drawing more exhibitors,” explained Leuterio. 

Bayanihan.com is duly registered and patented by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPO).
