Bringing his charisma and talent to both the TV and film scenes, Kapuso child star Euwenn Mikaell is just getting started.
After receiving awards and recognition for his performance in the GMA film "Firefly," Euwenn is set to star in his first leading role in the upcoming teleserye "Forever Young," premiering on Oct. 21.
During the grand media conference on Oct. 15 at GMA Studio 7 in Quezon City, Euwenn expressed his gratitude for landing his first lead role."Grateful po ako kasi binigyan po ako ng maraming projects, dahil dito," he said.
(I am grateful because I was given many projects because of this)
Euwenn will portray the role of Rambo Agapito, a 25-year-old man trapped in a 10-year-old body due to his rare condition called panhypopituitarism. His growth hormone slows down while his childlike appearance remains.
Despite the circumstances, Rambo remains a devoted son and brother to his adoptive family. He discovers his calling in assisting others and aspires to become a public servant.
When Euwenn was asked whether it was okay for him to stay forever young, the child jokingly said that he wouldn't do anything if he stayed young forever.
"Kung forever young ako, wala akong magagawa. Meron akong curfew, hindi rin po ako makakapagmall mag-isa, kaya gusto ko yung saktong age, mga 20s ganon," Euwenn said.
(If I'm forever young, I can't do anything. I have a curfew, I can't even go to the mall alone, so I want the right age like 20s)
How can Rambo fulfill his goals when he is still young and tiny in the eyes of society? Will he still pursue public service if it can put his loved ones in danger?
