Disney On Ice to debut magical story of Encanto this holiday season

Disney On Ice presents "Find Your Hero," which is not just a dazzling display of special effects or stunts as the holiday season approaches. It goes beyond being a visual spectacle and immerses audiences in timeless narratives that empower them to embrace their inner hero.

During the press conference held at SM Megamall on Oct. 15, Matthew Garrick, Senior Director of APAC at Feld Entertainment, expressed his excitement in his speech about bringing a Christmas tradition to Filipino families.

"Big thank you to all the big Disney on Ice fans in the Philippines for having us back in Manila this holiday season. Disney On Ice presents: Find Your Hero brings the magical life of your favorite Disney stars, and for the first time in Manila, step inside the music and magic of Encanto with Mirabel and her family," Matthew said.

The highly anticipated skating show will feature a new twist on fairy tales, starring Disney heroines such as Mirabel, Moana, Ariel, Rapunzel, and Belle.

Many Filipino families will particularly relate to the stories from Encanto because they embody the true essence of strong, close-knit familial relationships.

Arnel Gonzales,  general manager and senior assistant vice president of SM Mall of Asia Arena, shared how the theme of finding your inner hero is a perfect fit for all Filipinos.

"It's very appropriate for this year. Of course, there are lots of heroes every day, that we have experienced most recently in the Olympics," he said.

Fans can expect high-energy production numbers that will have audiences on their feet and singing along with the timeless compositions that keep every generation connected to the films.

Watch out for the complete list of ticket prices and best-view seats coming out in November and December via the SM Tickets platform and nationwide outlets.
