BLACKPINK’s Rosé, Bruno Mars release collaboration song ‘APT.’

BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Grammy winner Bruno Mars dropped their collaboration song “APT.” on Oct. 18.

“APT.” is a pre-release single from Rosé’s first studio album “Rosie” that will be released on Dec. 6.

The track was inspired by the Apartment Game in South Korea.

"'Apartment Game' is a game that I really like. It's simple, fun, and perfect for livening up the mood. One night, I started working on the song after teaching the staff I was working with in the studio how to play the game and watching them all having fun together. Bruno Mars joined and the song was completed,” said Rosé, Korean media reported.

“Rosie” will contain 12 tracks and Rosé participated in writing and composing all the songs in the album.

On Oct. 17, Bruno Mars posted a photo showing him and Rosé playing the Apartment Game.

“So this was me hanging on for dear life after @roses_are_rosie introduced me to this Korean drinking game and got me saucy. Soon after, she tried to kiss me, and I was like ‘woah Rosie! what part of the game is this?’ She was like, ‘I ain’t playin games wit you anymore lil boy! Big Rosie bout that BIDNESS!” Shaken, I replied “stop Rosie, I’m scared!’ But other than that, super chill night,” he wrote in jest.

Rosé replied, “What’s wrong with uuuu.”

In June, Rosé signed a management contract with The Black Label led by producer Teddy and a label contract with global record label Atlantic Records. YG Entertainment is responsible for BLACKPINK’s activities.
