A 63-year-old senior citizen was robbed of her pension after two individuals took her wallet containing her ATM card while inside a mall in Las Piñas.
The police said the victim claimed that she was bumped by a man to get her attention while another person took her wallet from inside her bag.
After getting a text message from the bank, she learned that an illegal transaction was being made using her ATM card containing her savings from her pension.
The victim tried to prevent the illegal transaction from pushing through, however, she failed to present any identification to the bank as her IDs were also inside her stolen wallet.
The suspects were able to guess her PIN and withdrew P50,000 using her ATM card.
Police officers are still conducting an investigation on the incident.
