Another best-selling Korean skincare line has arrived in the Philippines–the Carenology. Started in 1995, this brand was founded by Dr. Lim Ee Seok, a Korean dermatologist who worked with some of Hallyu’s A-list celebrities.  

Since then, Carenology has developed safe and effective products from natural, plant-based ingredients to maintain healthy skin. Carenology is based on 28 years of research data, skincare know-how, and information acquired on Korean women's skin and was developed so that women can care for their skin effortlessly and safely at home.

To help you kick off your Carenology95 journey, here’s some important information you need to know.

For its launch, the brand offers two of its best-selling lines–The Re: Blue is Carenology's signature line that nourishes and moisturizes skin, quenching skin thirst and leaving it extra hydrated. It harnesses the power of Moroccan blue tansy oil extracted via low-temperature steaming and patented liposome technology to deliver active agents deeply into the skin.

Meanwhile, the Sun Care Line of Carenology has moisturizing, toning, and UV defense benefits, offering Korea the highest UV ray protection factor. It also has extra skin soothing effects that calm skin that is exposed to and irritated by UV rays.

The products

  • Facial Cleanser is a hypoallergenic cleanser that thoroughly cleanses impurities and oiliness with minimized irritation after primary cleansing.
  • Multi Boost Toner is a mild toner that boosts skin care, enabling skin to absorb active ingredients more actively.
  • Regenerating Serum is a serum that recharges skin energy by strengthening weakened skin and releasing stress that the skin has been subject to throughout the day.
  • Ultra Repair Cream is a cream for barrier care that offers the energy of fresh hydration that restores the healthy condition of weakened skin.
  • Night Facial Oil is  Carenology’s star product. This non-greasy oil is derived from 98.9 percent natural ingredients. It infuses energy into the skin and restores the right balance to restore the biorhythm of damaged skin.
  • Sunblock from Carenology has a dual-toning sunscreen system that evens out skin tone and provides the highest sun protection to achieve that sun-protected luxurious skin glow.

In an interview with Manila Bulletin Lifestyle, Dianne said they will soon bring another product line from the brand, including its acne care line. 

“We met with Dr. Seok and we saw how passionate and good he is and that inspired us to bring Carenology here in the Philippines. We know that it will work for Filipino skin and we are excited for Pinoys to try it,” she said.
