Mayor Eric Olivarez said the city has recorded around 15,000 indigent PWDs from Districts 1 and 2, of which all of them will receive P2,000 worth of gift certificates.

Olivarez said the first batch of beneficiaries were from Barangays Don Bosco and Don Galo and received their gift certificates on the first day of distribution at the Don Bosco gym.

The second batch of distribution will be held on October 16 for the beneficiaries from Barangays La Huerta, Sto. Nino and Vitalez.

The mayor reminded beneficiaries to present their original PWD ID that has not expired and three photocopies of it.

For beneficiaries who will not be able to claim their gift certificate, they may authorize an individual to claim it on their behalf. Olivarez said authorized persons must present an authorization letter coming from the beneficiary and an ID.
