P14.6-M shabu found floating in Bataan, Zambales


CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Fishermen found a total of 2.1 kilos of suspected shabu valued at P14.6 million floating on the sea of  Zambales and Bataan on Monday, October 14.

SUSPECTED shabu worth P14.6 million was found in the sea of Bataan and Zambales on October 14. 

Eight fishermen from Barangay Matain, Subic, Zambales, found two plastic bags containing 1.8 kilos of shabu worth P12.24 million at around 5 p.m. near Lubang Island.

Two hours later at 7:04 p.m., a fisherman from Barangay Camaya, Mariveles, Bataan, recovered a plastic bag with 350 grams of shabu valued at P2.38 million.

These contraband were turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Zambales and Bataan and transferred to the PDEA national headquarters in Quezon City for further profiling.

The PDEA is determining the origin of the banned substance.
