Former mayor, daughter running unopposed in Malungon, Sarangani

MALUNGON, Sarangani – The former mayor here and his daughter, the incumbent local chief executive, are running unopposed in the 2025 elections.

FORMER Mayor Reynaldo Constantino and his running mate and daughter, incumbent Mayor Maria Theresa Constantino, are running unopposed for mayor and vice mayor of Malungon, Sarangani.

Commission on Elections municipal election officer Alvin Quinanola said former Mayor Reynaldo “Bong” Constantino and incumbent Mayor Tessa D. Constantino are deemed winners for mayor and vice mayor with just a single vote to validate the election results.

The Constantinos are running under the People’s Champ Movement led by former Sen. Manny D. Pacquiao.

Reynaldo was mayor from 2007 to 2016. He was succeeded by Maria Theresa, a lawyer, who is on her last term.
