Actress and social media darling Alex Gonzaga has expressed her readiness to start a family after undergoing a series of recent tests to ensure her health and well-being.

During the press conference for Chef Aybs' Paragis Tea held in Mandaluyong City recently, Alex said: “My last test, positive na po ‘yung katawan ko so anytime pwede na po tayong mabuntis. Kasi tiningnan ‘yung blood. Ganun pala ‘yun. Right now, it’s positive, it’s 60 percent okay so any time na po."

Alex added: “One of the reasons kaya hirap akong mabuntis is masyadong mataas ang immune system ko na hindi ko po alam kung bakit. There’s something wrong with my thyroglobulin na sinabi ng doktor ko.

“I’ve tried IVF. Before, I’m doing LIT kasi nga po nakita na masyadong mataas ang immune system. My body doesn't recognize pregnancy. Nung nagtra-try po kami, hindi masyadong umaangat ‘yung blood levels ko,” she said.

LIT or Lymphocyte immunization therapy, is a fertility treatment in which white blood cells from the prospective father are extracted and then injected into the prospective mother's skin.

Alex also encouraged netizens to be considerate when commenting on people's bodies, especially when using the term "barren" (baog).

“Hindi ako nasaktan personally. Pero tingin ko kailangang mag-stop ‘yung kapag sinasabihan kang baog.

“Sa gender, very sensitive na po tayo ngayon. Even sa body shaming. Pero bakit sa babae, kapag walang anak, bakit parang very loosely ginagamit ‘yung baog? We really have to be sensitive about it.

"Sa akin, kaya ko, pwede naman. What if may mga taong very sensitive talaga sa kanila ‘yung ganung issue? May mga ganun talaga akong kilala na they can't even talk about it.

"Naisip ko, we have to be careful na gamitin ‘yung words na ‘yun sa mga kababaihan kasi maraming inner struggles ang mga babae na hindi natin alam,” Alex continued.

The younger sister of Toni Gonzaga revealed that she sued a netizen for using the term "baog" on social media.

“Mayroon akong nademanda riyan.

Pinapaayos namin ‘yung apology," said Alex whose husband is Mikee Morada.

Aside from Alex, her parents, Daddy Bonoy and Mommy Pinty, were signed as endorsers for the health product. Despite her children being married, Mommy Pinty said they are becoming closer every day.

"Tatawag sila at magsasabi sila na bibisita raw sila sa amin. Tuwang-tuwa ako dahil makikita ko ang mga apo ko. Nito lang si Toni and Paul (Soriano) and yung kids nila sa amin natulog," she said.

Asked for advice on a happy married life, Mommy Pinty said that having a healthy sexual relationship is a crucial factor in ensuring the longevity of a partnership.

"Importante rin talaga ang sex sa relationship ng mag-asawa," said Mommy Pinty to which Alex agreed.

Chef Aybs’ Paragis Tea is a Filipino brand dedicated to natural wellness. She uses an old-fashioned technique to dry and prepare the Paragis grass, ensuring that the tea retains its complete nutritional and healing properties.

This artisanal method passed down through generations preserves the tea's detoxifying, anti-inflammatory, and immune-boosting benefits, Chef Aybs' also said.
