Ex-president Duterte, Bong Go visit INC head Eduardo Manalo

A photo posted on the senator's Facebook page showed that Duterte and Go visited Manalo at the INC's Central Office on Oct. 10.

Duterte and Go reportedly emphasized to Manalo, the INC's strong ties with the Filipinos, as well as the church's dedication to serving the people.

"Kapuri-puri ang malaking ambag ng INC sa panahon ng pandemya, maging sa pananalasa ng kalamidad tulad ng bagyo ay walang sawang nagbibigay ng tulong sa mga nangangailangan (The INC has made a significant contribution during the pandemic, extending aid to those in need, including those affected by natural disasters like typhoons)," the post read.

Aside from this, Go also greeted the INC leader for his upcoming birthday on Oct. 31.

He wished the church leader a longer life so he may continuously serve God and the Filipinos.

Go said that he would continue to pursue his goal of serving and keeping in touch with the different sectors for the welfare of Filipinos.
