Bagong Pilipinas caravan goes to Capiz


ILOILO CITY – The two-day Bagong Pilipinas: Caravan of Services of the Marcos administration kicked off in Capiz province on Saturday, October 12.

At least 30 national government agencies are in the provincial capital of Roxas City to provide services for the October 12 to 13 event.

“For those who have not been able to come, I hope the Capiznons can still come and avail of our government services,” said Kaye Almeda Yap, spokesperson of the Office of Presidential Assistant for Visayas.

Yap said this is part of the Marcos administration’s efforts to bring government services closer to the people.

The one-stop shop event at Villareal Stadium serves residents of the two congressional districts of Capiz.

Present at the opening were Gov. Fredenil “Oto” Castro, Capiz first district Rep. Emmanuel “Tawi” Castro, Capiz second district Rep. Jane Castro, and Mayor Roxas Dadidvas of Roxas City. Chiefs of government agencies in Western Visayas were also present during the opening.
