The Green Archers (6-1), who currently hold the top seed after the first round which was highlighted by a 68-56 win over the UP Fighting Maroons, will try to get even against the Red Warriors (5-2) in the 6 p.m. showdown.

In the opening game, the Adamson Soaring Falcons (3-4) battle the struggling FEU Tamaraws (1-6) at 4 p.m.

Kevin Quiambao, who is on track to win his second Most Valuable Player award, vowed to carry the lessons from their first-round 75-71 loss to UE which he said served as a wake-up call.

The Red Warriors drew strength from John Abate and Wello Lingolingo to beat the defending champions. They are expected to lead the Red Warriors' charge anew.

Quiambao, meanwhile, has Mike Phillips, Vhoris Marasigan, Henry Agunnane and EJ Gollena as his supporting cast.

Meanwhile, the Tamaraws are hoping for a great start with Jorick Bautista spearheading the offense along with the help of Veejay Pre, Janrey Pasaol, Jedric Daa and Mo Konateh.

They will face the Soaring Falcons who have Josh Yerro, Mat Montebon, Royce Mantua, Matty Erolon and Cedrick Manzano.
