German diplomat commends Port of NAIA's trade facilitation

The Port of Ninoy Aquino International Airport’s (NAIA) Bureau of Customs has received praise from the German Embassy for its efficient trade facilitation processes.

During the recent celebration of the 34th Anniversary of German Unity and the 70th German-Philippine Diplomatic Relations, German Ambassador Dr. Andreas Pfaffernoschke commended the Port for the speedy release of the embassy's cargo shipments.

Special Deputy Collector Dr. Siegfred L. Manaois of the Pair Cargo Assessment Composite Division represented the Port at the event.

The recognition highlights the positive impact of the enhanced trade facilitation program implemented under the leadership of Commissioner Bienvinido Y Rubio and District Collector Atty. Maria Yasmin M Obillos-Mapa.

The event, held in Makati City, further strengthened the already strong trade ties between the Philippines and Germany.
