FILRT, US BPO firm expand lease agreement

Filinvest REIT Corporation (FILRT), the real estate investment trust of the Gotianun Group, has entered into another lease expansion agreement with the NASDAQ-listed operations management and analytics company, EXLService Holdings, Inc..

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, FILRT said the agreement covers an additional 1,750 square meters of office space in Filinvest Two, Northgate Cyberzone in Alabang.

EXL initiated its partnership with FILRT in 2014 with a 5,200 square meters lease in Plaz@ E Building also at Northgate Cyberzone. The company has since renewed its contract with FILRT twice. 

The latest expansion into Filinvest Two highlights EXL’s ongoing success and strategic growth in data and artificial intelligence.

“FILRT is delighted to support EXL’s growth and expansion within Northgate Cyberzone. The sustained trust and confidence of EXL in our properties over the years reflect our dedication to delivering premium office spaces and fostering long-term partnerships,” said FILRT President and CEO Maricel Brion- Lirio.

At present, 94 percent of the FILRT portfolio is powered by renewable energy.
