Taguig Mayor Cayetano files COC for second term, presents her partymates 


Reelectionist Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano filed her certificate of candidacy (COC) on Oct. 7, aiming to win a second term in the May 12, 2015 national and local elections. 

Cayetano presented her candidates in Team TLC (Team Lani Cayetano) during a program held before they filed their COCs with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) Taguig office. 

She endorsed the candidacy of reelectionist 1st District of Taguig-Pateros Rep. Ricardo “Ading” Cruz Jr., who is running against Lino Cayetano, her brother-in-law and former mayor of Taguig. 

The mayor also presented reelectionist Vice Mayor Arvin Alit and Fort Bonifacio Barangay Captain Jorge Daniel Bocobo, who will be running for congressman in the 2nd District of Taguig.

In the 2022 elections, Lani Cayetano ran in the election together with incumbent 2nd District of Taguig Rep. Amparo Maria “Pammy” Zamora. 

Cayetano also presented her candidates for councilors in Districts 1 and 2 of Taguig. Based on a Comelec resolution, Taguig voters will choose 12 councilors per district instead of the current eight. 

The increase was due to the inclusion of the residents of the 10 EMBO (enlisted men’s barrio) to Taguig from Makati. 

TLC’s candidates for councilor in District 1 of Taguig are Kim Abbang, Raul Aquino, Allan Cruz, Sammy Cruz, Darwin Icay, Jaime Labampa, Lamberto Manosca, Rodil Carlos Marcelino, Carlito Ogalinola, Fanella Joy Panga-Cruz, Gamaliel San Pedro and Ferdie Santos. 

The candidates for councilor in District 2 of Taguig are Marisse Balina-Eron, Edgar Baptista, Gigi Bermas, Danny Castro, Irony De Lara-Bes, Ivie Dizon, Gen Pau-tin, Alexander Penolio, Eduardo Prado,  Jomil Serna, Nicky Supan and Bing Villamor.
