Brian Poe, chairman of FPJ Panday Bayanihan, officially filed his certificate of candidacy for the 2025 elections under the FPJ Panday Bayanihan party-list.

This filing marks a significant step in the party’s efforts to address pressing social issues such as poverty, food security, and justice, as it prepares to contest the upcoming elections.

Brian, the son of Senator Grace Poe and grandson of the iconic actor and national hero Fernando Poe Jr. (FPJ), is set to carry forward his family’s enduring tradition of public service. FPJ Panday Bayanihan’s platform is centered on uplifting marginalized sectors and ensuring their representation in Congress.

“Ang FPJ Panday Bayanihan ay hindi lamang partido, ito ay kilusan para sa mga ordinaryong Pilipino. Patuloy tayong maglilingkod sa mga sektor na matagal nang napag-iwanan—ang magsasaka, mangingisda, kabataan, at mga manggagawa," Brian said after filing his candidacy at the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

The filing event was attended by a small but significant group of key figures who share FPJ Panday Bayanihan’s advocacy. Present were Senator Grace Poe, who stood by her son, offering her full support, as well as Mark Patron, and Hiyas Dolor, wife of Oriental Mindoro Governor Humerlito "Bonz" Dolor and nominee of the party. Their presence underscored the broad coalition of supporters backing FPJ Panday Bayanihan’s mission of social equity and community development.

The party-list is deeply rooted in the legacy of Fernando Poe Jr., whose passion for fighting for the underprivileged continues to inspire millions. With a platform focused on Food, Progress, and Justice (FPJ), FPJ Panday Bayanihan aims to bring about meaningful legislative reforms to uplift Filipinos and address inequality.

“We are not just aiming to win a seat in Congress; we are fighting for real change in the lives of ordinary Filipinos.” Brian Poe stressed.

FPJ Panday Bayanihan has garnered support from various sectors across the country and is poised to push forward policy initiatives on social justice, accessible healthcare, education, sustainable agriculture, and good governance. As they look ahead to the 2025 elections, the party-list remains committed to improving the quality of life for every Filipino, staying true to its bayanihan spirit of communal unity and cooperation.

With the legacy of FPJ as its guiding light, FPJ Panday Bayanihan seeks to continue advocating for the marginalized and ensuring that their voices are heard in the nation's halls of power.
