He added, "We recently celebrated the ninth anniversary of the founding of 'Monbebe,' and I am so grateful to Monbebe for always believing in me and waiting for me even though the members' military enlistments have led to a long hiatus. Thanks to Shownu and Changkyun (I.M) who have protected the team well, it gave me great strength to know that I have a team to return to. I will come back with better news and various appearances as you have waited for me for a long time."

Minhyuk will hold the “Minhyuk Fan Event: Let's GO! 5rae” on Oct. 6 at Yes24 Live Hall in Seoul.

He is the second member of Monsta X to complete the mandatory military service after leader Shownu. Those currently serving in the military are Kihyun, Hyungwon and Joohoney.
