Volunteers throw bottled water at devotees to keep them hydrated during Traslacion

Bottled waters were thrown at devotees who participated in the Traslacion on Tuesday, Jan. 9.
According to the devotees, dehydration was not a concern during the procession as many volunteers climbed posts and roofs to throw water bottles at them.
They said they just shout for water whenever they need it and the volunteers will throw them the bottled water.
Datu, a devotee who distributed hot meals and bottled water to devotees before the Traslacion, said he is happy that Traslacion is back after a three-year hiatus.

He said some volunteer groups and water refilling stores also donated thousands of bottled water to ensure everyone stayed hydrated during the religious festival.
