Yesung is one of the main vocalists of Super Junior and a member of the group’s unit K.R.Y. with Kyuhyun and Ryeowook. He debuted in Super Junior in 2005 and they celebrated their 18th anniversary last November.

After all these years, Yesung still maintained his deep and powerful voice that left the audience in awe. He is one of the best vocalists in the K-pop industry.

“Unfading Sense,” the concert name, is also the title of Yesung’s latest mini-album, which was released last October

Performing songs with a live band, Yesung opened his show with “Scented Things” followed by “Fornever” and “Silhouette,” three songs in his new album.

He also sang “No More Love,” “Butterfly,” “Moment,” “Floral Sense,” “Beautiful,’ “4 Seasons,” Like Us,” “Ho,” and “It Has To Be You” (official soundtrack for the 2010 drama “Cinderella’s Stepsister.”

“Nice to see you all. Now I recall, I think, there were so many times that I came back to the Philippines just to see Filipino ELFs [Everlasting Friends, the group’s fandom name]. I’m very happy to see you all more often,” he greeted the crowd.

Yesung added, “Or is it because we see each other often? Maybe that is how comfortable I am to see all of you.”

He said the Manila concert was his first time in 2024 to meet his fans so he got a haircut.

“Did you like it?” he asked the audience, which chanted “Pogi! Pogi! (handsome!).”

Super Junior, including Yesung, held their first concert in the Philippines on April 10, 2010 through their tour “Super Show 2,” which was promoted by Pulp Live World.

Since then, members of Super Junior have visited the Philippines many times for concerts.

Yesung continued his set with “Bear Hug,” “Corazon Perdido (Lost Heart),” “Small Things,” and “Slide Away.”

According to him, “Every time I sing ‘Corazon Perdido’ or the ‘Lost Heart,’ I really, really wished that this was my title song.”

The track was included in Yesung’s fourth mini-album “Beautiful Night” released in 2021 with the same name as title track.

He added, “Every time I go abroad, sometimes the audience cannot get the meaning of Korean jokes. And then I realized I hoped I should have learned Tagalog. How I wish the world only has one language.

Halfway through the concert, Yesung said, “Every time I come to this moment to do my ment [talk], I realize something. I feel very frustrated thinking when will I see you again. Honestly, the Philippines is one of our favorite destinations.”

The Philippines was the second to the last stop of Yesung’s “Unfading Sense” solo concert tour. He will hold the last show in Macau on Jan. 13.

“So I guess we will see each other again in the next ‘Super Show,’ right?” he said, referring to Super Junior’s concert tour.

He added, “So please continue to support us.”

A video made by Filipino fans was presented during the concert, showing fans holding Yesung’s photos in different places in the Philippines including Mountain Province and Davao del Norte.

“Thank you for coming back. We love you!” the message read coming from Philippine ELF.

Yesung commented, “Wow there are a lot of beautiful places in the Philippines. I am so touched. Thank you.”

As he wrapped up his concert, he said, “It’s my first time to go to different cities, different countries by myself. And, of course, it was all possible because you gave a lot of support to my album as well.”

“And I am very happy because this kind of tour is something that I always dreamed of. If things didn’t happen in 2023 because of various reasons, I came to realize that this year, I should probably prepare myself more to show you different aspects of myself,” he said.

Yesung added, “As much as I’m gonna try my best,  also I have to make more effort to come see you more often. And I really want to tell all of you that these years that we’ve been together, I really want to say thank you, sincerely, for still continuing your support to come and see me every time. Thank you so much. Please stay healthy and take care of yourself until we meet again.”

He concluded his solo concert with “Together” and “I am.”
