Under Navotas City Ordinance No. 2023-44 (Amended Birthday Cash Gift to Senior Citizens), seniors who are registered voters in the city and have an identification card issued by the City Social Welfare Development Office (CSWDO) or the City Persons with Disability Affairs Office will receive the birthday cash gift.

The local government said that senior citizens whose voter registration was deactivated due to health conditions are also entitled to receive their birthday cash gift if they can present their senior ID and were deemed qualified for the program after a home visit conducted by the City Health Office or the CSWDO.

The city government said that aside from the program, it also gives P10,000 cash gift to Navoteños who reach 100 years old and P1,000 monthly afterwards.

Registered senior citizens may also watch movies for free at Fisher Mall Malabon every Monday and Tuesday.

"We acknowledge the invaluable contribution of our senior citizens to the progress of our city. We hope to support them in fully enjoying their twilight years even through this small gift," Tiangco said.
