“My Life,” a memoir writing workshop, will start on Jan. 12 at the Sunshine Place.
Formerly known as “Write About Life,” the six-session workshop will be conducted every Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The memoir writing workshop is one of the popular workshops at Sunshine Place. This is the third batch of the workshop to be facilitated by Barbara “Tweetums” Gonzalez-Ventura.
Gonzalez-Ventura, who writes the column “From My Heart” for The Philippine Star every Sunday, is also the author of How Do You Know Your Pearls Are Real? On Single Parenthood and Other Ms. Adventures, a 1991 National Book Awardee, Manila Critics Circle, and We’re History!, a collection of her columns on ordinary life. She has been a columnist for 35 years. She has been writing and teaching writing since 1988.
