Drug pusher nabbed with P4-M shabu

CEBU CITY – A 28-year-old man described as a “target-listed personality” was arrested in an anti-illegal drug operation in Barangay Kalunasan here on Monday afternoon, January 8.

Charles Clue Aragon, a resident of Sitio Alaska, Barangay Mambaling, this city, was nabbed by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Visayas (PDEA-7) with packs of suspected shabu worth P3.9 million.

Leia Alcantara, spokesperson of PDEA-7, said the 17 packs of suspected shabu seized from the suspect weighed 575 grams.

Together with operatives of the Guadalupe Police Station and Naval Forces Central, the PDEA-7 cornered the suspect after a two-week case build-up, Alcantara said.

Alcantara added that Aragon was capable of selling 500 grams of shabu a week.

Charges for violation of the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspect, Alcantara said.
