Bettors from cities of Davao, Pasig to split P121.8-M Mega Lotto 6/45 jackpot


Two bettors, one from Luzon and one from Mindanao, would become instant millionaires as they would split the P121.8-million Mega Lotto jackpot.

As announced by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Tuesday, Jan. 9, the winning tickets were bought in Sto. Rosario St. Palm Drive, Buhangin, Davao City and Lianas Mutya ng Pasig Mall, Pasig City.

During the Mega Lotto 6/45 draw on Jan. 8, the two bettors correctly guessed the winning numbers  09 - 07 - 29 - 28 - 11 - 18.

The total jackpot amount won was P121,816,502.40. The jackpot prize per share amounted to P60,908,251.20 for each winner.

PCSO reminded that all prizes above P10,000 are subject to a 20 percent final tax under the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law.

Moreover, PCSO reminded the public that all winning tickets should be claimed within one year from the draw date. Otherwise, it will be forfeited to form part of the PCSO Charity Fund by the PCSO Charter (RA 1169).
