The Career Service Professional Eligibility qualifies individuals for permanent appointment to both first level (clerical) and second level (technical) positions within the career service which do not involve the practice of the profession and are not covered by the bar, board, and other laws.

On the other hand, the Career Service Sub-Professional Eligibility shall be appropriate to first level positions only.

The CSC reminded that eligibility alone does not guarantee appointment in government service as education, experience, training, and other competency requirements of the positions must also be met.

Meanwhile, CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles congratulated the passers, noting that this signifies an “auspicious beginning” for them and their families.

“Tunay ngang isa itong magandang panimula ng taon hindi lamang para sa inyo kundi para sa inyong mga pamilya (Indeed, this is a beautiful start to the year not only for you but for your families as well),” Nograles said.

“Higit sa lahat, kaming mga nasa pampublikong sektor ay nagagalak na makatrabaho kayo sa susunod na mga buwan o taon tungo sa isang maunlad at matatag na serbisyo sibil (Above all, we in the public sector are pleased to work with you in the coming months or years towards a prosperous and resilient civil service),” he added.
