46 law violators arrested in Bulacan


A total of 46 lawbreakers were arrested in Bulacan during an anti-criminality drive on Monday, Jan. 8, and Tuesday, Jan. 9.
 
Based on the reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, joint operatives of the Meycauayan City police; Provincial Drug Enforcement (PDEG 3); Santa Maria; Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Team; Regional Intelligence Unit 3; Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan; Baliwag; Malolos; San Miguel, Bocaue, Plaridel and Norzagaray, launched a series of anti-illegal drug operations in their areas.

The operations resulted in the arrest of 23 drug suspects and in the confiscation of  55 sachets of  "shabu" with an estimated weight of 25.7611 grams and worth P177,335.00; eight sachets of alleged marijuana weighing 14.3 grams and worth P2,055; one caliber .22 snub nose revolver with serial number 83952 loaded with six live ammunition; one caliber .38 revolver without serial number and three pieces caliber .38 live ammunition; assorted paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.

The confiscated illegal drugs were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for examination, while appropriate criminal charges against the suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.

Meanwhile, a manhunt operation that was conducted by the tracker teams from the Bulacan 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC); San Jose Del Monte City; 2nd PMFC; San Rafael; Santa Maria; Angat; San Jose Del Monte; Bulacan 1st PMFC; San Ildefonso; Pandi; Bocaue; Doña Remedios Trinidad and Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) 3 resulted in the arrest of 23 wanted persons involved in different crimes.
