CAMP FLORENDO, La Union – The Police Regional Office-1 (Ilocos) assured full support to the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

Police Brig. Gen. Lou F. Evangelista, PRO-1 director, said they strongly adhere to the Constitution and committed to protect the sovereignty and democracy of the Philippines.
“The Philippine National Police-Regional Office 1 stands firm in its commitment and dedication to safeguarding the sovereignty of our beloved country. We wholeheartedly pledge unwavering support to the mandate the Filipino people bestowed to our President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Romualdez Marcos Jr., recognizing his responsibility to govern,” stated in a manifesto signed by Evangelista.
“As guardians of the peace, we affirm our allegiance to the Constitution, which serves as the bedrock of our democratic society. Our solemn duty is to protect it at all costs, ensuring that the principles it enshrines are preserved for the benefit of every Filipino,” it added.
The PRO-1 vehemently denounced any attempts to sow discord and destabilize the administration.
“Recognizing that a stable and thriving society is built on the foundation of strong democratic governance, we are committed to thwarting any divisive factors that may seek to undermine our collective strength.”
Evangelista appealed to the public to continue supporting the law enforcement efforts and initiatives of PRO-1.
“We call upon our fellow countrymen to join hands in preserving the peace and security of our beloved Philippines. Through unity and collaboration, we can contribute to building a peaceful and prosperous nation that reflects the aspirations of every Filipino,” he said.
