5 drug suspects , 2 gun law violators nabbed in Bulacan


Police arrested five suspected drug dealers and two gun law violators in Bulacan on Monday, Jan. 8.

Based on reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the drug sting conducted by anti-drug operatives of the City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM) Police resulted in the arrest of alias "Jr.," 55, of Area F, Brgy. San Pedro, CSJDM. 

Confiscated from him were 17 sachets of suspected shabu valued at about P34,000, and marked money.

Four more drug dealers were arrested in separate drug-busts by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Balagtas, Hagonoy, and Angat.

Confiscated during the operations were 12 sachets of suspected shabu valued at P32,680, and the marked money.

The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for examination.

Criminal complaints for violations of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against the suspects, police said.

Meanwhile, two gun law violators identified as alias "Onof," 23, of Brgy. San Pedro, and alias "ML," 25, of Brgy. Sta. Cruz 2, both in CSJDM, were arrested during the implementation of a search warrant issued by a court in CSJDM. 

The operation was done in coordination with the 24th Special Action Company (SAC), 2nd Special Action Battalion of the PNP-Special Action Force (SAF). 

A .38-caliber firearm with five live rounds of bullets and another .38-caliber revolver with two live rounds of bullets were confiscated from alias "Onof and alias "ML", respectively.
