DOH dispels rumors on alleged upper respiratory disease in China
In response to an alarming message circulating online regarding an alleged Upper Respiratory Infection in China, the Department of Health (DOH) issued a warning to the public on Monday, Jan. 8, cautioning against the dissemination of misinformation that improperly utilizes the agency's name.

"The DOH would like to clarify that the message did not come from any verified platforms of the Department,” it emphasized.
Moreover, the Health Department underscored the significance of preventive measures in combating various diseases.
It reminded the public that adopting healthy habits, such as maintaining a proper diet and engaging in regular exercise, can contribute significantly to overall well-being.
The DOH highlighted that respiratory diseases and other communicable illnesses can be mitigated by implementing a combination of protective measures.
