Ex-village dad shot dead in Quezon

TIAONG, Quezon â€“ A 53-year-old former barangay councilor was shot dead by four unidentified gunmen in Barangay Cabay here on Saturday afternoon, January 6.

Police identified the victim as Primo.

Investigation said the victim was resting in his terrace when the suspects arrived onboard two motorcycles.

The two back riders alighted and fired at the victim several times, killing him on the spot.

Police said the gunmen were wearing a black jacket and jersey T-shirt printed with the number 12 and an orange dry fit long-sleeve shirt orange and blue. Their drivers were wearing jackets and baseball caps.

The suspects fled toward direction of Candelaria, Quezon.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
