Carmina Villaroel gave an emotional birthday message to her twin children, Mavy and Cassy Legaspi, who turned 23 last Jan. 6.

Carmina delivered a strong message to her kids in "Sarap Di Ba?" last Saturday.

"Nasabi ko na lahat sa kanila. Ang wish ko lang talaga is to have inner peace and inner joy.

"I'm trying to be careful kasi baka bigyan ng ibig sabihin yung mga sasabihin ko. I don't want to overthink. Tatay and I are just happy that you're back.

"You know that I have been quiet for the past...how many years? Hindi ko alam kung bakit sinasabi nila na nakikialam ako. But I don't care. Because I am your mother.

"Kung nakialam ako, hindi mangyayari ito. So it only means, hindi ako nakialam. I'm just thankful because you're back. Yun lang yun. Baka kasi malagyan naman ng ibig sabihin.

"I want you to know, the two of you, that I will do everything and anything para sa inyong dalawa. Hindi ko lang kayang pumatay. But I will really defend you sa abot ng makakaya ko.

"Yun lang guys. I love you so much. Tandaan n'yo lang na andito kami ni Tatay para sa inyo. We always want what's best for you guys. Hindi kami kontrabida ng mga buhay n'yo. Kakampi n'yo kami.

"Yung pinagdaanan natin last year, I'm thankful na pinagdaanan natin yun because nakita ko yung strength ng bawa't isa. Yung isa gustong mag-give up pero we're drawing strength from each other.

"Kapag ako yung tinitira, si Mavy yung nasasaktan. Kapag si Cassy yung tinitira kami ni Zoren yung nasasaktan. Pero tahimik lang po kami kasi hindi naman po kami pala-away. Gusto lang namin ng peace and love sa lahat. Yun lang happy birthday guys!" Carmina ended.
