Police Executive Master Sgt. Artus Escuadra of the Escalante City Police Station said these rebel returnees aged 26, 30, and 31 turned themselves in through the help of the local government.
Escuadra said they were members of the Roselyn Jean Pelle Command, Northern Negros Front. He, however, did not provide more details for their safety.
He said they will be processed to enable them to avail of government programs.
But the Roselyn Jean Pelle Command disputed their surrender, saying they have no active member who gave up to the police in the past days.
Escuadra said they respect the allegation of the NPA and stressed they accommodated the surrenderers in good faith.
